We’re excited to welcome Robi Mitch to The Old Department Store on Friday 26th June for the next event in our live music series, The Long Table Lates!
Hailing from Bristol and now based in Cornwall, Robi Mitch brings dreamlike songs and soundscapes inspired by 70s psychedelia, 80s synths and 90s mixtapes. Robi’s music shifts seamlessly from record to record, reflecting a restless creativity. Formative years touring in Taiwan bring futurist synth flavours into the mix, while his love of analogue textures and folk songwriting keeps things feeling warm and organic.
Robi's album FLAT PLANET comes out in June 2026 on We Go To 11 Records, a bedroom pop space odyssey blending slinky synths with sleazy grooves. "Amazing!" (BBC Introducing) "Heavenly" (Obscure Sound) “Innovative and unique” (Found Sound Review) “Timeless songwriting” (In Stereo) “Diverse, blissfully warm and utterly infectious" (Small Music Scene)
Support for this show comes from Delifinger. Formally of pop-experimentalists OLO Worms (Fence Records), and current member of local collective The Burway, Stroud-based singer-songwriter Matthew Lacey cuts loose as Delifinger (Lost Map Records). Expect wonky pop folk and off kilter love songs.
